Journey to the Benevolent Ant

Journey to the Benevolent Ant
Oil on canvas, 38w" x 26h", 2001
From the private collection of Mr. Brad Cooper

Notes: This painting illustrates a scene that I experienced in one of my visualizations. I started in a house that lead to a system of chutes that dumped me into a swamp. I then fell through the swamp to the bottom of the ocean. I was feeling so psychologically submerged that I even went through the ocean floor into an ant cave. In the cave was a huge ant. I was shrinking before it, getting smaller and smaller until I was very tiny. I was on the table in front of him. I had a lot of fear but the ant turned out to be benevolent and helpful. The lesson I learned was that I was very small. There were half plant half snakes on the bottom sticking out of the silt.
