Painted atop a canvas full of glued on canvas scraps and illustration board shapes. The layers of paint here are pretty thick too making it one of my more textured pieces. I like subtle texture like this. Imagery inspired by the island Madagascar off the east coast of southern Africa. On the left is the island itself with yellow mountains. To the top right is a forest scene with a couple snakes in the trees. Below that is a king with complicated robe. On the bottom left and top left is the ocean.
