This abstract piece resulted from working on top of a painting that I bought at a yard sale. Much of the green background remains from it. I will often paint atop found paintings or works I have discarded earlier. What is already on the canvas gives me direction for a new piece. This one took an organic direction with shapes reminiscent of trees, flowers, water, and other plant life.
